Founded in 1913, a year after statehood, El Palacio is the nation’s oldest museum magazine of its kind. It explores New Mexico’s art, culture, and history while highlighting the exhibitions, collections, research, museums, and historic sites of the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.
